Day Tour in Villa Escudero
Because we were stressed from work & studies, we decided to go on a vacation in Villa Escudero. From Baguio, it took about 7 hours to reach the place. The resort was huge. There are lots of activities that you can do in a day. We opted to go with a day tour.
The first thing we did is ride the carabao to reach the museum. In the carabao ride, there will be someone singing old songs while you are enjoying the ride.
In the museum, there are a variety of artifacts from the Spanish period & from different countries.
After the museum, we went to the buffet restaurant by the waterfalls. There were loads of people because it was the weekend. The food served was Filipino food. They recommend using your hands to eat instead of spoon and fork but they also provide chopsticks if you don't want to use your hands. You have to be careful while walking because the current is a little bit strong and it is quite slippery.
After eating, we went fishing and went swimming by the pool. You can also go rafting if you want & watch the cultural show.
Overall, I had fun. I learned a lot about their culture.
